About Us

The Break O'Day Traditional Archery Club was formed in 2019 when we decided as a club that Traditional Archery Australia was the best affiliated national body for our club members and the direction we wanted to take as a club. We had the advantage of being able to form a collective of Tasmanian TAA clubs with our sibling clubs being Loxely Archers (Burnie) and Castle Bay Traditional Archery  (Castle Forbes Bay).

Previously we had been known as The Break O"Day Field Archery Club (founded in 2010) and were affiliated with ABA. We were with ABA for over 10 years.

The Break O'Day Traditional Archery Club is located in beautiful St Helens on the East Coast of Tasmania. We offer archers a picturesque bush land experience for field archery.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Break O’Day Traditional Archery Club is to provide a safe, family friendly archery experience; promoting good sportsmanship and a sense of belonging for the community of St Helens and the wider area, welcoming visitors and locals alike.

Goal

To transfer the skills of archery, axe and knife throwing to members and visitors alike, as well as provide education on the history and etiquette of Traditional Archery as a sport.
